When I took my laptop to the customer care for a keyboard issue, they told me that the battery is swollen. I have never heard about this earlier.

One person told me it is due to being plugged in to the charger whole day.

Though I have started plugging off my laptop now and also removed the outer laptop cover. But still not sure what is the reason and what is the resolution of a swollen battery.
